Entebbe and Transguy area of South Africa is beautiful. What wonderful and inviting people along with insanely colorful views of green rolling hills. A man’s wealth is determined here by how many cattle he has. Wives are negotiated and purchased using cattle. A woman that is attractive and educated may go for as many as 25 cattle while a woman that is from a common family with out education are sold for as little as 7 or 8 cattle. Entebbe, Uganda
Spent time with OCC in Entebbe, Uganda. Wonderful children and good work by the missions team.
Foundation Walk
These are some pictures from the First, second and third walk for the foundation. It covers the entire way from the outskirts of Phoenix to the first stop light in Rocky Point. Some pictures are from the second year that Rich LaNasa walked with me.
Penasco Childrens Foundation’s Kiddos
In 2003 I started the Penasco Childrens Foundation by walking 200 miles to raise money to help a couple children who’s families couldn’t afford their medical needs.. Now more than 40 children later, there is a lot of good thing that all the people who are now part of the charity have done for the children of Sonora. A very special thanks to everyone who makes this a reality
Just back from Jemina
A call came in that people on the Baja were in trouble with out drinking water and basic supplies. So on September 15th Many friends and family came to answer the call, armed with water purification systems that will provide enough drinking water for a 1300 a day we set off first to Puerto Penasco then to Guymas and the next day accross the sea of cortez in my trusty Saratoga filled to the roof with supplies for the people of Cuidad de Insurgentes. The people were amazingly kind and my host and coordinator Diplimato Juan Hernandez the trip was a huge success.
The Following People Made the relief trip possible. I want to recognize them for their support over the years and the generosity for the people in Mexico
